You need to come to Pittsburgh. The city needs someone like you to dance around and what not.

A friend just showed me the 45 minute film about you on facebook. Your work is incredible, it's refreshing to see people out there doing exactly what makes them tick with complete disregard for social expectations. When the weather is warm again, I hope you won't have strayed far from NYC, I'll be sure to come up there and dance with you.

Thank you, and all the best.

I was just introduced to your work via walker jones facebook page. I watched clips and part of the film. I am really moved and very inspired by your life and work. I have a five year old daughter who would love to spend the whole day in an imaginary world or singing or painting if she could. She is effortlessly creative and not self conscious, like most children her age. I was able to get her into a new school in forest hills called "The Academy of Excellence through the Arts." However, I see now that there is a paucity of real support for the children to learn to express themselves freely. No one is to blame for this. The school is very good in many ways. The public schools ( and many private ones in the area) are dominated by mandated curriculum. I see your work and self expression as the antithesis of this. I will bring my daughter to see you for sure. And maybe one day I can support your work to support children.
Thank you

I have just watched a youtube documentary short on you, and also linked to the talent show clip. I was so taken with your work, and your life story, and the way you are able to articulate who you are. It is so sad to think that the talent show was not able to judge actual artistry, as it can only let contestants perform within rigid societal perceptions. I wish you the best in all aspects of your life and I do hope I get to see you in person at some point!

Man I saw you today for the first time on youtube when I was browsing Americas got talent. And didn’t like the way u where treated on that show. U didn’t even get a good chance to show what u have! your face expression said allot of things that i didnt understand when i saw it first .
I then did a search and saw the 45 min THOTH documentary .. and got to understand u more .. I think you are doing a good job, and as long as u know u are in the correct path and you love what u do nothing could stop you.
I must say I like your work even though some times it can freak people out!

Keep up the good work, and I will be checking your foot steps.

Good Luck.

A fan from the other end of the world

Why Tolkien
My early life of self hatred was lessened by reading the works of writer J.R.R. Tolkien who showed me that imagination was not something to be feared.

Language Of The Festad: an introduction
During every prayformance, I write a word or two from the language of the Festad in my prayformance journal and improvise it into my singing. The language of the Festad has come into existence because of my personal growth and the evolution of the process of creating the Festad world.

S.K. Thoth, Modern Mythmaker, And The Rite Of Sub-Creation
As a one-man opera and sub-creator, S.K. Thoth, stands amongst those who have inspired and gone before him. His life, philosophy, mythological world and ultimately what he calls his “death dance” are a fine balance of earlier methods from many areas of art, literature, music, and drama; he is one born as a new leaf upon the great tree. A primary influence, who will remain with him his entire life, is J.R.R. Tolkien, author of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. This piece endeavors to explore the creative process of the mythological work of S.K. Thoth, along with his philosophy on creativity, spirituality, and sub-creation. Full Text
