Boustrophedon is defined as: "an ancient method of writing in which the lines run alternately from right to left and from left to right." Thoth believes it to be far more efficient than our present way of writing. However, the requirement of the reader is to be able to read backwards. Here is an example from the beginning of the Illiad by Homer.

This exercise is for you consciously to spin  the dancer in the opposite direction you are wonted to see. Most people notice the dancer spinning clockwise. But no matter what direction she is spinning in, try to reverse her. Great for right/left brain use.
